About
I'm Julien Dejasse from Liège, Belgium. I created JD Production because I believe we can produce the impossible by combining organisation and creativity.
I started producing videos — mainly music videos for bands — in 2018, when I realised that production is a job in itself. Making a music video can be a big, complex project. Preparation and organisation are the keys to making it work.
What do I do as a video producer?
I manage planning, location scouting, permissions, lighting rental, accounts, crew and logistics.
On the creative side, I help artists develop ideas and stories. I always encourage them to brainstorm their craziest ideas. My experience as a manufacturing engineer helps me find ways to achieve surprising results, sometimes with limited resources.
Set design and stage effects
The goal is to create an eye-catching environment. Stage effects are part of the show, and I use my technical knowledge and creativity to manufacture professional sets that fit the project and its budget.
